Legendary show, many many fans have it in a Top 10 for any era...myself included.

I'd like to take an informal poll on which SOURCE people think is the best for this show. There's like 8 of 'em on the archive and I can't really decide if ONE stands out soundw-wise more than the others.

I think new ones have come in since the last time I listened and I don't really feel like sifting through 'em all again, so I'm leaning on you good folks.

any takers?

i've got one of the oade sources, decent enough but nothing that i would consider stellar, haven't listened to any of the others on the archive; as for top 10 all-time, hmmm, i think i have to agree with the man behind the curtain on this ... hardly

I should have amended my 'top 10' to the decade of the 1980's...and for that I DO put 10/12/84 in the Top 10.

The whole show is great but the 2nd set UJB through DEW is one of the best 2nd sets they played all decade.

Love 10-12, but I have to say the 11th is no slouch. The Playin from the 11th is gooey and wonderful. Both these shows bookend one another perfectly(obviously with the split Playin). So much so that they seem like 1 long show.

yes, the 10/11/84 Playin jam has shades of 73 all over it! along with >Fantasy>Peter>Sugar, set the mood for the next night quite nicely

the Oade's have better overall eq and super bass response, but i've always been partial to the energy of this one;

both shows in my top 10 of shows attended, so had my eye on this thread hoping someone would take up Grendel's call for opinions on the recent uploads...guess i'll just have to try and make the time...

I might be wrong here, but i think the Morning Dew on all of them is an aud. Sure would love to hear a sbd of that.
Anyway...The aud. w/ the most downloads is a good one.
